Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Moisturizer

Unfortunately, I have the double whammy of skin when it comes to being dry and sensitive, which usually makes it extremely difficult to find a quality moisturizer that will work properly. So far, (the last 3 months are so), I've been pretty content with this Clinique product. It is a super moisturizer, so it really is best to use it at night instead of the morning. It might make a decent primer, but it takes a little while to set in the skin, so at first it leaves it a little wet and shiny (therefore night use is best!)

But, it does work wonders! I have yet to have any skin reaction, and honestly my skin hasn't been this moisturized for a while. Not to mention, it lasts forever. I have barely made a dent into the surface - there is still well over 3/4 of the product left to go! Like most Clinique products, the price tag is a little high, but boy, does it last! Worth the results.

Pros: Super hydrating, great for sensitive skin, long-lasting, best for night use
Cons: takes awhile to absorb, price

As always, let me know your thoughts!

Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette

I've finally gotten on the Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette train -- and I'm here to stay. I absolutely love this! There is a good mix of shimmer and matte colors that are very versatile for nearly all occasions. If I had to choose one palette to use everyday, this would be it.

Sin, Naked, Buck, Hustle, Half-Baked are among my most used colors, but in all honesty, there is not a single color I haven't used on multiple occasions. The colors are vibrant neutrals that blend well. The cost is a little high at $50, but it lasts forever; I have yet to hit the plate and I have had this case for almost a year. A great investment.

Pros: long-lasting, beautiful pigmentation, good selection, high quality, matte and shimmers
Cons: pricey

I have yet to try the Naked 2 palette - so feel free to leave your comments about Naked or Naked 2; I want to know what you think!

Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Matte Lipsticks (107)

I have a love/hate relationship with red lipsticks. They either add the right pop of color to an appropriate makeup look or they make me look like something straight out of a circus act. I recently tried Clinique's Chubby Stick and was disappointed with the outcome. However, Rimmel's Kate Moss line of lipsticks are absolutely amazing!

This color 107 has blue undertones which make your teeth even whiter (an added plus!)
The lipstick stays, even after drinking, eating and a full day of talking; the only downside is that it can be a little drying. So before applying, prime lips with a moisturizing lip balm.

Pros: Amazing color, long lasting, inexpensive (approx $5.00), matte
Cons: drying

I'm curious what you think of this line; comment below and let me know!

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation

Like many out there, I have scoured through drugstore makeup racks, spent hours reading online Sephora reviews and have tried one too many products that have left my skin worse off than it started. Luckily, Urban Decay's Naked Skin Foundation is a dream come true.

I have both the 1.0 and 2.0 shades that I swap out based on the amount of sun exposure I've had. To  help determine your perfect shade, the Urban Decay Naked website has an easy tool to figure out which color suits you:  http://www.urbandecay.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-UrbanDecay-Site/default/Finder-Show

Essentially, I've found a long-term foundation that is and will continue to be a staple in my bag. It lasts all-day and blends easily. If you are looking for a paraben-free, lightweight, high-coverage foundation that lasts on average (with daily use) around 3 months, take this product and run! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Pros: long-lasting, matte, great pigmentation, medium-high buildable coverage
Cons: pricy (approx $39)

Tell me your thoughts!
